  • What Is IReallyLikeFood?

IReallyLikeFood is where you come to find recipes, restaurant reviews, fun food facts, weird food news, and of course, food porn. We cover anything and everything food related. Here at IReallyLikeFood, every day is a food holiday and we like to celebrate by sharing our personal stories and recipes.

Our content comes from several different places. We feature reader submitted posts, international syndicated guest bloggers and of course, posts from our own editorial team. We strive to have an extensive variety of content to reach a wider audience.

We love to cook, eat and enjoy food, so take a look around because we really like food!

  • How To Get Involved

We love receiving reader submitted posts, send us your idea or post from your own personal Xanga account! If it's good we'll publish it on the main IReallyLikeFood page.

We also offer a syndication program for other food bloggers. IReallyLikeFood will feature your content on their site, which will include a link back to your site within the post and on the IRLF home page. If you are interested in becoming a syndicated blogger, contact internships@xanga.net

We're always looking for new writers and team members. Our internship program is available year-round and offers both college students and post-grads the chance to gain valuable blogging experience as well as college credit. We post ads regularly on CraigsList NYC and Ed2010.com when we're hiring for internships, but feel free to contact internships@xanga.net

  • Behavioral and Comment Policy

The IReallyLikeFood Editorial Team will feature content that is considerate of others, which is respectful and civil toward all members of the IReallyLikeFood community, regardless of who they are and what they believe.  Content that is discriminatory, bigoted, and hateful will not be featured on the site.

We expect the IReallyLikeFood community to write comments that are constructive with the understanding that all members of the community are free to share their views, including those with whom we disagree.  We welcome respectful disagreements, but we can't condone those who turn informed discussion into an arena for name-calling and ad hominem attacks. IReallyLikeFood refuses to tolerate comments that are personally malicious, and in addition, those who write comments that derail the conversation or discuss something that is not related to the topic of the original post run the risk of being warned and having their comments deleted.  As editors, we use our discretion in determining which comments meet the criteria for deletion.

Those who choose to become involved on IReallyLikeFood will not use this site to harm, abuse, threaten, harass, stalk or invade the privacy of any member of the IReallyLikeFood community.  These actions are in direct violation of the Xanga.com Terms of Use to which all account holders have agreed.  Further, we will not allow the site to be used to attack, mock, insult, condemn, ridicule or otherwise isolate any member of the IReallyLikeFood community on the basis of his or her religious, political, social, ethnic, or other personally held beliefs.

We do not approve the extensive use of language that is vulgar, obscene, libelous, defamatory or otherwise hateful.  These actions are in direct violation of the Xanga.com Terms of Use to which all account holders have agreed.  Further, while we will not censor members of the community should they use profanity in moderation, such censorship might occur if members of the community abuse this privilege.

Please contact the IReallyLikeFood Editorial Team at stephanie@ireallylikefood.com in the event that these guidelines are violated by any user at any time, regardless of his or her affiliation with IReallyLikeFood. Those who are found to be in violation of this policy will first receive a written warning from a member of the IReallyLikeFood Editorial Team.  If problems persist, members do run the risk of being permanently blocked from the IReallyLikeFood website.  Lastly, we will, at times, remind the community of this policy in a post or a comment, and these reminders are to be respected and taken seriously.
